I got about the same miles from my orginal tires, actually the fron had sme tread but was cupped badly, and the rear had some tread but I had run over something that cut clear through the middle of the tread about an inch across. Put 2 metzlers on and the rear was worn almost down flat by another 7K miles (probably had 2K to go but I had the back wheel off to work on the hard bag mounts and went ahead and mounted and balanced the new tire), front is still on and in good shape. I picked up a Dunlop eliteII one size bigger with much crown to the tread. Will see how long it lasts. I live in the part of the country that has most of the roads laid out on section lines so have to really work to find curves to wear out the edges of the back tire. eally like the utility of hard bags that hold a plastic grocery sack and room on the rack for a suitcase of beverage. Getting about 105 miles indicated with the larger tire on 2.1 gal of gas so bike is operating well with the Reask header and HD muffler. Max
